Aventuur, a client of Hydrock, has been chosen to build Perth's world-class surf park, which will be the largest in the Southern Hemisphere. The Perth Surf Park is expected to open to the public in early 2025, subject to approvals from the relevant authorities.
Hydrock is a multi-disciplinary engineering consultancy, working within Civil & Structural Engineering, Building Services, Ground Engineering , Nuclear, Transportation and more. Hydrock migrated over to Rapport3 in September 2019. There were many challenges in deploying their previous Practice Management solution Workspace from Union Square at their Almondsbury HQ and connecting it to their 15 other offices including their Australian office.
"With Rapport3 we are able to be more efficient with work stage's, projecting, fee forecasting and resource planning, which before were quite time consuming. ” -Dave Lawes
Hydrock provided guidance to assist their client in securing a development application for a next-generation surf park that included housing, a health and wellness centre, co-working offices, functions and event spaces, a performance academy, a beach club, and restaurants.
Our Australia based client Hydrock gave RIBA2 advice specifically related to the delivery of the Wavegarden Cove. This included how it would need to be built and how it would interact with other structures as well as soft and hardscape features in the area.
It’s great to see our Australia based clients achieve success. We provide our clients with a project management system which enables them to work on ground-breaking projects like this.
