Rapport3 is delighted to introduce Momentum to our Rapport3 Project Costing, HR and Contacts (CRM) Modules.

Momentum Structural Engineers is a creative, award-winning civil and structural engineering practice, who have worked on some of the most distinctive structures in the country - from the National Theatre, to the Olympic Park (the Water Polo arena, wayfinding structures, the Coca-Cola Pavilion, the Paralympics Closing Ceremony & post-games adjustments to the Aquatics Centre), to Attingham Park. They are a lateral-thinking, pragmatic, clever practice, offering services internationally from simple, economic solutions to solving complex technical problems in large-scale projects.

They joined Rapport3 in December 2019, purchasing our Rapport3 Project Costing, HR and Contacts (CRM) modules. Having been developed with engineer working methods in mind - with two of our founders having strong engineering backgrounds - the Rapport3 software has been configured to simplify the running of engineering firms, and supports 15% of the NCE100.

The versatility and efficiency of our budget planning features are unparalleled in any other project management system. Momentum can now plan by grade and utilise workstage templates for quick planning. With such a wide range of high-profile projects, and working alongside architects, theatre directors, festival producers, artists and more, clarity on their costings is vital.

It is similarly important to have a fantastic line of communication available to keep on top of each project and those operating within it - which is why Rapport3’s Contacts module has been designed to provide one powerful dashboard to display all client data. With an intelligent contact life-cycle, a campaign management system, integration with Outlook and mobile compatibility, Rapport3’s Contacts module allows Momentum to uphold their love for collaboration, and their flat structure which ensures both engineers and directors are hands-on in each project.

The
Project Costing software integrates workstage level probability factors and standard construction fee structures: for instance ‘fixed fee’ and ‘percentage of construction’ options are available. Detailed plan-by-grade options are available, as well as workstage probability factors, ensuring that if you work in phases, you can plan the engineering project on the likelihood of winning speculative parts of the job. This benefits Momentum by allowing them to assess the best opportunities for them, so that they can continue to deliver the high standard of work they are renowned for. Importantly, this module is flexible, ensuring that it can be tailored to your business and your process - which means that Momentum can maintain their existing structure and methods, with a system that helps them streamline the process.

With our HR module, key staff information is available in a searchable database, including skills information and performance reviews. With a flat structure and a passion for sharing ideas and designs, this allows Momentum to keep on top of the specific talents of each of their staff to ensure that they are working on the projects which allow them to shine, and are provided with the experience to grow. It also allows them to make sure that each of their valued staff are being looked after, to help maintain their fantastic, collaborative work environment. We are extremely proud to be able to support such a respected structural engineering practice in their work, and look forward to helping them grow even further. They are looking to switch from their unsupported Australian accounts package to our Accounts package, powered by Twinfield, later this year - we are very excited to support them in this capacity as well.
