The Useful Simple Trust Adopts Rapport3 CRM Module
The Useful Simple Trust is an existing client of ours, but were getting tired of using spreadsheets and Outlook in lieu of a CRM system. So they introduced our CRM module to their five Trust companies.

The Useful Simple Trust
is a family of professional design practices driving change. Their experienced and committed engineers, architects, designers and strategists work side-by-side to deliver valuable outcomes with positive impact. The Useful Simple Trust’s trailblazing work is delivered through their Trust companies: Expedition Engineering, Think Up, Thomas.Matthews, Useful Projects and Useful Studio. These companies are knitted together by four key themes: Work for Good, More with Less, Restore and Adapt and Get Set, Zero. These strands ensure that the Trust exceeds their clients’ needs, champions their communities and pioneers through design for the planet.
The Useful Simple Trust are an existing Rapport3 customer, but they were still using spreadsheets and Outlook in place of a sophisticated CRM system. They decided it was time to introduce our Rapport3 CRM (Contacts) module
to their Trust for a more centralised approach to Business Development and Marketing. The module allows contact information to be clearly displayed on the dashboard, with an intelligent contact lifecycle retaining company history, keeping it always easily accessible. The powerful dashboard has features unlike any competitor, including a campaign management system, comprehensive integration with Outlook and the capability to manage business development tasks through mobile and Outlook plugins.
Board members were particularly impressed how new functionality had been developed with so much consultation of the 190+ Rapport3 user base, including:
- PowerBI templates for CRM
- Key Account Dashboard
- Mobile Phone App
- Outlook Integration
We are pleased that The Useful Simple Trust have decided to expand their Rapport3 package, and we look forward to seeing how they get on with their new centralised system.
