Last week the NLA’s annual New London Awards was hosted, in association with the Mayor of London. The awards celebrate all scales of projects, that enhance the vision for a New London: a city that is sustainable, civilized and egalitarian, with improved standards of design and quality.
This award ceremony saw 700 of the capital’s leading decision-makers and professionals across development, design, planning, and construction come together for the NLA Annual Lunch 2021.
We are thrilled to see our client Hopkins Architects win the NLA award in the working category for 100 Liverpool Street.
100 Liverpool Street is the redevelopment of a 1980s building originally designed by Arup Associates, that is now a new contemporary office space. Our client stripped back the building to its structural frame, relocated cores to the outer building edge adding flexible office layouts and a new central atrium. The resulting project is a high-quality, modern, and flexible commercial office building with contemporary work, retail, and social space over ten floors.
As British Land’s first major project with a converged network and smart enabled infrastructure, the building is shaping the way future developments are delivered. Our client's work has made an outstanding contribution to the city of London with their work providing better access facilities, and connectivity for those using the building and beyond.
Congratulations to Hopkins Architects for a well-deserved win.
