David Kelly Partnership took on our Rapport3 software in 2016, to address issues with timesheets, as well as fee proposals and project accounting. Their spokesperson, Office Manager Gráinne Scully, explained the challenges they were facing: “We were looking for a new solution to allow staff to record their time (our previous software required many clicks and people were not inclined to use it). We also needed assistance with developing costs for fee proposals and tracking project costs, as well as issuing invoices and tracking aged debtors.”
They did considerable research as a company into various solutions before choosing Rapport3, taking advantage of our free demonstration. Their spokesperson said, “We looked at a couple of different options before choosing Cubic and were impressed with the demonstration provided. The software interface, especially for timesheet entry, was particularly appealing.”

They chose our main module, Project Costing, which covered all of their administrative, project costing and project accounting needs. With features such as QA, timesheets, resource planning, business intelligence, budget planning, expenses and team management all displayed on sophisticated dashboards, our Project Costing module was a great option to help David Kelly Partnership work smarter, faster, and more efficiently. Our QA in particular was helpful for the company, providing a comprehensive birds-eye view of the project conformance to ensure each step is checked meticulously - and as an ISO 9001 accredited company, these kinds of quality management capabilities were of particular importance.
David Kelly Partnership have found Rapport3 has helped them to greatly improve their project accounting needs. Their spokesperson explained, “ Tracking debtors and forecasting billing has become much easier. With regular checks on active projects that do not have a billing plan we are much less likely to miss out on claiming fees for smaller projects particularly. We have also found that our calculation of Work in Progress figures at year-end is much more accurate as well as being much easier!”
The company also found that staff administration greatly improved; especially when it came to timesheets: “The simplicity of the timesheet entry means that completion levels are much higher which is helping us to accurately review actual costs on a project-by-project basis.''
