Civic Engineers Become a Rapport3 Client

Civic Engineers work at the forefront of engineering design, delivering award-winning projects from their studios in London, Manchester, Leeds and Glasgow. They recently took on Rapport3, choosing our main Project Costing module and Sage integration.

Civic Engineers is a company of talented engineers creating award-winning and inspirational buildings, structures and places across the UK. Their skills cover both civil and structural engineering, which they fuse to resolve the increasingly complex needs of our towns and cities, with a focus on creating positive, sustainable and economically-viable environments. 

They selected Rapport3 as their new project management system in June 2020, after encountering issues with their existing system. They took on our main Rapport3 Project Costing module and Sage integration.

Civic Engineer's past system was Sage Core Time, which couldn’t give them the visibility of live and speculative projects they needed. This presented them with difficulties when trying to plan their work with a view to navigating the business through these challenging times. Additionally, they found that their Directors were spending far too much time manipulating spreadsheets. Going forward, Rapport3 will enable them to make informed decisions earlier, so they can manage resources more effectively and timely.

Our Job Costing module incorporates features such as QA, Billing, Reporting, Budget Planning, Expenses, Timesheets and more, allowing Civic Engineers to monitor and analyse each project with intelligent information to ensure success. This intuitive module will not only improve the quality of the information available to them, but also increase efficiency and effectiveness. 

Integration with their Sage accounts will speed up invoicing and ensure the whole business has visibility of outstanding payments so they can make smarter, more informed and timely invoicing decisions. It also saves them the hassle of transferring their accounts by enabling them to access them within Rapport3. 

Finally, PowerBI reports will help Directors to make faster, more informed decisions to ensure continued success through these challenging times for our industry.
