Celebrating Our Clients' Achievements at the RIBA London Awards 2025

The 2025 RIBA London Awards have celebrated 38 outstanding architectural projects, showcasing innovation, sustainability, and excellence in design. Among the winners are several of our esteemed clients, whose contributions have significantly shaped London's architectural landscape. 


Bennetts Associates –  Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (RCOG), Southwark 

Bennetts Associates transformed a 19th-century warehouse and a 1980s office block into a cohesive, modern headquarters for the RCOG. The project emphasises adaptive reuse, sustainability, and inclusivity, repurposing existing materials and furniture to create a functional and environmentally conscious space. 


dRMM –  WorkStack, Greenwich 

dRMM's WorkStack introduces a novel approach to high-density industrial space by building vertically. This sustainable design provides flexible workspaces, addressing the need for efficient land use in urban settings. 


Hawkins\Brown –  Central Foundation Boys' School, Islington 

Hawkins\Brown's redevelopment of Central Foundation Boys' School earned them three accolades: a RIBA London Award, the Sustainability Award, and Project Architect of the Year for Negar Mihanyar. The project seamlessly blends heritage conservation with modern educational facilities, emphasising environmental responsibility. 


Mæ –  Daventry House, Westminster 

's Daventry House provides high-quality supported housing for older adults on a constrained brownfield site. The design focuses on enhancing mental health and well-being, offering residents a dignified and uplifting living environment. 


Purcell –  Elizabeth Tower (Big Ben), Westminster 

Purcell's meticulous restoration of the iconic Elizabeth Tower showcases exceptional craftsmanship and conservation expertise. The project ensures the longevity of this historic landmark while integrating modern sustainability practices. 


Purcell –  V&A Photography Centre, South Kensington 

In collaboration with Gibson Thornley, Purcell played a pivotal role in the V&A Photography Centre, the UK's most extensive suite of galleries dedicated to a permanent photography collection. The project involved restoring Grade I-listed galleries and adding a striking new archive space, blending careful conservation with modern functionality to allow the galleries to flourish. 


John Simpson Architects –  Royal College of Music, South Kensington 

John Simpson Architects delivered a sensitive extension to the Royal College of Music, resolving complex circulation issues and enhancing the building's functionality. The design respects the site's heritage while providing state-of-the-art facilities for students and staff. 


AWW - Mary Ward Centre, Stratford

AWW's transformation of a 1970s office building into the Mary Ward Centre has created a vibrant hub for adult education and community services. By adding two additional storeys to the existing structure, the project expanded capacity while embracing sustainability through adaptive reuse. The Centre now serves thousands annually, extending education beyond its walls and fostering local partnerships.
